I use the severe gear. Not sure if it is better or not. It is just what I buy.

Use the Severe gear. Its got a little differant additive package for smaller rigs(reduce chatter etc. ). The other is more for big rigs.

Not trying to start a war BUT do you feel better running the synchromesh than a full synthetic? and why?

I only posted the link to my page to show the spec for the oil. Amsoil makes an oil that meets the spec. I wan't trying to pitch the Penznoil over the Amsoil. I don't think Amsoil made the stuff the last time I changed mine.
