Another one from Peggy Noonan

How do I clean inside of gas tank?

My wife received an email message at work from the benefits manager who is a friend of hers. I can't vouch for the reliability of the message, but the person who sent it to her is definitely reliable. Might not hurt to take heed of this warning.

I'm not really one for mass emails, but I thought that this was pretty

important for you all to know. Bear with me here. It's kind of a long

story,

but I need to tell it to you all for you to understand it. I just got

a

telephone call from my mom. One of the teachers that she works with

has a

daughter who works for Hallmark in Kansas City. Her name is Beth.

Beth's

boss at Hallmark used to date a guy of Afgan decent. I'm not sure if

they

are still considered to be together or not, but that's not really the

issue

here. Anyway, her boyfriend fled the country 2 or 3 days before

September

11th, telling her that whatever she did, she was not take any flights

on

the

day of 9/11. She didn't really understand why or anything, but she

agreed

not to. Well, we all know what happened after that.

So, Beth's boss (are ya all still with me?) received an email from her

boyfriend (or this Afgan guy) yesterday (Oct. 8th). The message said

that

whatever she did, she was supposed to stay out of ALL malls on

Halloween.

There was no explanation, he just stated that. The FBI is now involved

and

have confiscated Beth's boss' computer and are trying to find this

guy.

So, I guess the reason that I am writing you all is to pass this

message.

It

is your decision as to whether or not you believe it, but from what I

know

of my mom's friend and her family, they are a pretty reliable

source... ... ... ... ... ..... so be careful. I just wanted you all to know

this

information. Pass it on to as many people as you know. We need to

spread

the

word about this.

One of the "urban legends" websites is claiming this is probably a hoax. The FBI says they never received such a letter.

No telling about copycat idiots though...

Yup, probably copycat. I hope these domestic clowns realize that instead of getting their 15 minutes of fame they're gonna get their 20 years hard time!!! I really think the powdery envelopes are copycat too because unfortunately the islamic terrorists are smart enough to know that cutaneous (skin) anthrax is highly treatable compared to pulmonary (lung) or enteric (stomach). Yes its the same bug (and its not a virus, d@mmit!!!) but manifests very differently depending on the route of infection. In the 1800's all you had to do was be careless carding (combing) wool in a mill = Wool Carder's Disease, Bacillus anthracis
