I have to say this pump is working great and cant hear it at all! Pump is mounted on frame with nylon washers between the frame and pump. The intial pressure setting was 12 psi, I test drove the truck like that to see what the prssures would do. This was with out the regulator installed yet. results were 12psi @ idle, 10psi @ cruise and 7psi @ WOT. Not bad for just the pump. Then I removed the spring from pump and made a shim to tighten up the spring to crank the pump pressure to 25psi. Then I installed the regulator and regulated the pressure down to 16psi. So now idle is @ 16psi, 13psi @ cruise and WOT is @ 11psi. All in all I am happy with this set up.

The pump and reg cost me $240 and the 6an and 8 an lines I already had. I did buy some extra fittings for roughly $50.

I should be good for a while now.

Good man. Those readings are consistent with my setup which is the same.

spend about $30 with summit and get you a brush and seal kit to throw in the glove box for extra security. I've got just over 21K on mine now and not a lick of troubles. havent seen any winter driving yet so i'm curious to see how that effects things. i was thinking of putting a "diaper or jacket" on it to keep it pretected and insulated from the wind chills of road travel.
