Mallory Saga Episode 2 scene 2

Just to update the other mallory users, looks like my second mallory is on it's way out, the Gauge needle is bouncing around off and on, so I figure it is only a matter of time. I am going to attempt to put new bushings in my original mallory this weekend and get it back to functional. I think I have around 40-50k miles on this pump or around 6 months.

thanks for the update on the Mallory---I think the longest one has survived is 1 year + a little(HVAC's)---but if it's dieing just because of brushes and then all it takes is to replace the brushes to bring it back to life that wouldn't be so bad---keep us posted on the amount of brush replacements so we can see how long it will hold up before it's entirely toast----chris

That is what mine did when my brushes went out. But only about 5 min and $10 to fix. Put a spare set in the glove box and your set.

Welcome to the club, at least you got some miles outta yours, Morph. I, too, will be interested to see if the brushes help.
