Saw Full Size 2nd Gen Ramcharger

I'd say they probably got RAILED by a tractor-trailer, or something of the caliber. Of course, it looks like they got hit, then ran off the road, and had a large rock fall into the bed.

As for parts to salvage, the taillights, rear wheels/tires, the roof marker lights, and maybe a couple of the fender marker lights, but after that, it's one big paperweight.

It looks like they could have gotten out without much harm, though. The cab is rather intact, sort of like what happens when a Saab is in an accident, the exteroir falls apart, but the passenger cabin stays rigid.

Didja notice the broken bed? If it were metal, you MIGHT have been able to bend it back into place, but all that plastic shattered - you can see it best on the passenger side shot.

by the looks of the trailer he is towing in the one picture, maybe he discovered why you can't tow that much weight with that truck

That does look like an awful heavy TT... Should be towed with a Pete 330 or something similar... Just my thoughts.

At the top left hand of that page it says cars . Click on that and on the first page click Wendell truck show 2003 and look at that pic of that blue 51 Chevy truck .

My guess would be brake fade and a run-away accident after seeing that picture.

Would like to know the real story though.

Hope everyone made it out ok. :(

and you would even bother tring to fix it??

Also, notice the blood on the air bag. At least it aint very much, probably just some glass cuts. VERY LUCKY.

The owner's comments about the accident -

"We were the victims of a wreckless driver. The other party was traveling at a highrate of speed, lost control of his car & hit us head on, on a two lane rural high way. One of our Labs was killed by the impact, our bow tie was totaled, the 5er is questionable. Our whole entire life is in a tow yard 260 miles from home. Our injuries are moderate to serious, I came out the best. My wife has casts on her ankle & arm. The passenger of the other car was killed on impact.

wow. . Thats a bad wreck. my mom is a trauma flight nurse, and goes to scene calls like that all the time. It's got to be hard to do, but she handles it very well. When she saw the pics, she was not surprised like the rest of us were. Guess when you see it on an almost daily basis, its just like another day.
