Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Manifold Torque Pattern

What is the correct torque pattern for putting in the exhaust studs? I'm replacing some leaky gaskets, have the torque specs from the board here but was wondering about the correct order.



Also, was wondering if anyone used red loctite in the process and if there's a right or wrong way to place the gasket i. e. does the raised side face the motor or the manifold.

p. s. I have the retention straps, will put them on as well.

Do not use red loc-tite use never sieze on the bolts. and torque them in this order or close to this order 3-4-2-5-1-6

I found out I have a cracked manifold tonight in the process of changing out the gaskets.
