My tenant, and good freind modifies Mitsubishi Turbo Transmissions, most of his customers use some kind of manual boost controller (either pop the hood and turn the knob - or in-cab remote cable). It's basically just a small valve placed in line on the wastgate actuator tube. Has this device been tested by anyone here for our CTD application? Any opinions on possible concequences from manipulating boost in this maner?

It's standard issue w/ Pius' USB turbo. My friend has one, and it works ok, but 99% of the time he just leaves it cranked to max anyway, so it's kinda worthless. His is in-cab. Just cut the line between the boost elbow and wastegate actuator, add more line, put the control inline, then route back to the actuator... not a very difficult thing to do at all.
