Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) manual shut off kit???

Does anyone know of a manual fuel shut off kit,,,or have a manual set up they did themselves,,,???i'm having solenoid issues and thinking of removing it all and going manual. . it may be inconvenient but it's 100% reliable,,,the reason i keep this old truck is for it's relability and ease of working on them. .

I think the B5. 9 was used on some tractors, and maybe generators. If somebody knows the brand of tractors / generators you might check with a dealer and see what they say.

Also, check with a Cummins dealer and see if they have a manual control assembly.

you just remove the fuel shut off solinoid and route a pull cable into the cab. . heck you could take a hood release cable from the junk yard if you wanted. . hardest part is holding the cable shielding in place on the pump. . often a small hose clamp will work. . on the cheap... a nice setup would be a cable holder and vernier cable lock etc. .

Hope this helps a little, I've removed my fuel shut off and swapped to manula on several of my vehicles. .
