I put one of the Manual Transmission Filters on from Geno's 2 or 3 years ago, I now need to change the transmission fluid and filter, BUT don't have the time to wait on a Geno's order (poor planning, I know), so does anybody know where I might find one of those kits elsewhere, like NAPA or other widely available sources? I believe they are Eaton Fuller, but not sure of the part number OR who carries Eaton parts. Should be about $10 for the two gaskets and a new element.

If you can't wait the three weeks for genos you might try Quad 4x4 in Montana. I'l bet that is an item they stock and Dan is all about service.

I have the local International dealer checking, but they didn't think they had a source, will know Thursday. Thanks for the MT angle. As it turns out, I may wait for Geno's, only 57K on the current oil, I wanted to do the boxes again at 50K, but time and weather may prevent that. I wanted to do some PM work, looks like a trip from OR to NE to LA and then up to CT/RI and then home via NE again will be happening during the 1st 120 days of the new year. That will add about 10K, for a total of 67K or so on the gearbox since the last PM, more than I like, but probably still OK. I did the 1st and 2nd change on 30K intervals, and I don't think the transmission needed it after the initial change, however 30K seems to be plenty on the rear differential, always nasty. I will have about 34K on the rear when I get home, so I am leaning toward just doing all the boxes later in the year now.
