MAP sensor location on '06

Could somebody please tell me where to find the MAP sensor on my 06 5. 9L?

It is located on the intake manifold toward the rear and I believe on the side but I could be wrong. There is also the Intake air tempature sensor on the intake manifold.



Try the 3rd gen 5. 9 L forum under facs and questions they mite have a diagram there.

As Mule said it is on the intake with a 3 wire plug. Hope this helps.

I just looked and all I saw was a 2 wire plug that goes to a cylinder type sensor mounted on the turbo (intake side) and the air temp sensor. Just to make sure I checked the intake horn area also but nothing there.



Any other tips how to find it?

The MAP and IAT are both located on the left (driver side) of the engine towards the firewall. If you point a flash light at the engine and hold the flash light under you master cyclinder, you will see them.
