I asked in the first time owners forum for the location of the MAP sensor. A couple guys helped out and said it was a 3 wire connector on the intake. I looked around and didnt notice anything. I searched some more and found a post saying it was on the intake manifold by the fuel rail so I went back out and looked. I think I found it but wanted to verrify. Also, I have a Edge Attitude on my truck and have read that there's a boost fooler built into it. I'd like to put a smoke switch but wasnt sure where exactly to splice into the wires. I've read that it goes after the boost fooler but if mine is built into the Edge am i still able to make one?

Is this the MAP inside the circle?

Don't know a lot about 24 valvers, but think you are pointing to the IAT sensor. The MAP, alias turbo boost sensor, is under the intake, kinda behind the filter area. Hope this helps.

Yep, thats the MAP sensor.

As for the smoke switch, turn your attitude to higher setting if you really want smoke. You will find when you start trying to wire a smoke switch in its a big hassle. It doesn't create enough to be worth while and usually ends throwing codes all the time and putting the truck in limp mode.

At the price of Diesel, get some power with the smoke. ;)

Thanks for the replies..... and the advise. Your right too, diesel is just too much to be throwing it out the tail pipe. It's going back down though, I saw it for $4. 35 today!!!
