Map Sensor

I wanted to clean my map sensor, but I don't have all my tools with me.

Could someone please tell me what size socket I need to remove it.

1. 25" like Bigsaint said, make it a deep well - there's about 1. 5" of electrical connector to reach around to the brass base.

Where is the MAP sensor located?

I'll have to go buy a cheep one. All my large tools are in a storage container on the other side of the country. No one here at the park has one, but I should have one with me anyway.

The map sensor is just to the rear of the fuel filter, and right behind that is the IAT sensor.

Yanked mine the other day.............

Not much to clean there. It's just a pressure sensor and it's recessed into the brass housing. Not much to get to or clean. I would save the money on the socket. Mine did look a lot better than the IAT did. Of cousre the IAT was cleaned a while back when I had the K&N on and it seemed oily. Now that the BHAF has been on a while the IAT looks fine.
