very very stinky. smells like way too much coincidence. marc rich will eventually get his come-uppance, if not from the US government, then from any angry russian who can get close enough, or on judgement day. there's no way you can do that many people wrong and never pay for it.

I think everyone is missing the real point. This is just an example of what the Democratic leadership has been fondly referring to as "targeted" tax cuts.

Just have to make sure your bribe targets the appropriate Democrat. Worked for Rich & Jesse pretty well, among others. Once you're in, tax fraud goes away!

Can you imagine the furor in the press if these were Republicans involved in this? Remeber when the Senator from Oregon was run out of congress for "attempting" to kiss a staffer?
