Marine Corp license plate

Being an old Marine, your never an X Marine. I wanted to find and display on the back of the truck a Marine Corp license plate. Here in Missouri if you are rated for 18K pounds you only run a front plate. I once saw one of these plates that I liked. It was chrome and had the globe and anchor in gold. Any other old Marines out there that might know where I can find one of these? I found a web site named Sgt. Grit (probably my old DI) that had Marine Corp plates but no Chrome with the Gold globe and anchor. I just thought it might be worth a try to see if any members new how I might find what I wanted.

Denny, I did a search (sure you did also) and couldn't find that plate. I know which one you mean, saw it alot at PI. Anyway, looks like we have a birthday coming up real soon .

Denny, Have you checked the local Army&Navy surplus stores, sometimes they have things like that.

Here you go. Go to Sgt.Grit's and subscribe to the weekly email full of great information and stories. There you will also find his online store. Lots of great things on there. I have ordered from him and never had any problems. You can also request a free catalog. It comes out 3 or 4 times a year. They have everything from Marine caskets (For the hard core Marine) to Marine lamps.
