Marine Headgasket

Ok guys this is for all of you with a 24v that have replaced you OEM headgasket with a 20 thousandths over marine gasket.



How do you like it?

Does it smoke upon startup?

Any trouble starting?

Loss/gain of noticeable power?



Also please post if you had the head milled and if so how much. Also please post if you have an ETC or an ETH. I have 3 trucks that we are O-ringing and I am considering using this gasket. All of the trucks are between 500-600 HP single charger with boost levels below 60 psi.

Doug, been Runnin an 020 12v gasket since the big Blow up last year, i "might " have lost a few hp but i'm not sure, as for hard starting NONE, smokes a little when cold, (but that might be the inj. ) as for like it? yes would do it again in a min.

Do you 24V guys have the spray pattern issues that the 12V guys do using a thicker head gasket along with extra timing? I have no idea how much timingis added with a box.
