Mark Forums Read

Something seems different here... Before I would have to manually mark "forums read" which was a good thing cuz sometimes I didn't have time to read through them all in one setting.



Now when I come back to finish reading I get a new list as if they were marked off "forums read" automatically.

Can I change that somewhere?

It works the way it always did with one addition. If you go away from the site for more than 15 minutes then everything is marked read before that time. Within the "window" since the last time you were logged on it keeps track of what you've read within that session and only marks those that you've read (this is the new part). You can see your "last logged in" time in the upper right of any of the forum screens - anything older than that date and time is not going to show up on a view new posts screen - which is how it's always been.

I see my time zone setting had been changed, maybe that was also giving me trouble. Seems to be ok now... thanks Steve.
