Need to "lower" truck 1 inch...for 3 weeks

Today I went to Wal/Mart to buy one gallon of MMO. The clerk there said they had a recall on this product and did not expect to stock it again.

Recall ? Am wondering if this is being taken off the market do to the EPA.

Anyone here have any understanding about this. I have used MMO for many years now and will miss it.

If you do a search there was something on about this not long ago. Something about not haveing the right sticker on the bottle.

MMO probably got tired of having their heads bashed in by the wally-world purchasing department and told them to eff off.

Stop by Auto-Zone on the way home and snag a couple of bottles. You can get your PS there too.

Dunno. The Walmart here has Power Service and MMO. I just bought some Power Service this week since Napa wanted $19 for the same $13 jug Walmart has.

Guess I found the answer to my question today. Drove up to Jackson Ca. today, stopped at a Wal/Mart and they took the MMO off the shelves. Across the road there was a K-MART. Went in for the fun and found a few 1 quart containers sitting on the shelf. The following discovery answers my original question... ... This tab was on these available bottles of MMO.

"This diesel fuel additive does not comply with federal

low sulfer content requirements for use in model year

2007 and newer diesel motor vechicles".

This was written on a round adhesive tab on the bottles neck. Guess this has answered my question regarding the disappearance from the shelves of most stores on this product. No one seems to know when this product will return to the shelves. Maybe just here in California. ??

I never could figure out the hype on MMO. Supposed to work in gas or diesel engines and you can put it in the fuel or oil. Now wait a minute. Nothing works well in those four enviroments.

I use to dump a quart in my oil (gaaser. . never the Cummins) just before changing it. It would turn the oil black fast. Like it was cleaning things up. Then I did the same thing using diesel fuel(D#2)... a quart just before an oil/filter change. Same results!

I'm guessing it's nothing more then kerosine or D#2 with a little paint thinner (toluene, xylene, acetone etc. ).

I know a lot of guys swear by the stuff but I have my doubts. It's certainly a mystery... . I'm just not sure how Marvelous. Not really sure it qualifies as an oil!

I saw a gallon jug of it in Tractor Supply (TSC) on Sunday,$17. 64. Where I used to work we had a garden tractor with a 14 hp single cyl. It used to stick a valve after you run it for an hour, we added MMO the gas on every 3rd tank. No more stuck valve!
