I am in the process of removing the ABS(junk) from my truck to make room so that i can easily work on and remove the fuel filter... .

So my question is what is the thread type/size that comes out of the front Master Cylinder port (the one with the 1/4" line going into it not the smaller 3/16" line)

I grabbed two fittings from napa that i thought for sure one would work but on one the threads were just a hair small and the other was the right size but the threads were wrong... .

Anyone have any insight on if our master cylinders are Metric or Cust. ??? Because this threw me for a loop even though i completley redid the brake system on my car a month ago

this is on a Vacuum Brake truck

Before I would do this I'd ask my insurance company if they are going to cover you if your in an accident... . Modification to federal mandated systems are usual grounds for their not providing coverage if a problem occurs... also, lets assume that they will cover you... . think of the exposure you've opened your self up to if you are in an accident and its your fault and there is a severe injury or death.....

I'm thinking the other party would own everything you've got...
