Hi,

I have a 93 4X4 with 4500 lb front axle . I'm having trouble finding the correct brake master cylinder. . My mounting hole on my M/C are slightly different distances from the center of the cylinder but all the ones I get from Napa or whoever are centered between the mounting holes and don't fit... Anyone else any experience with this? Part #?... ... ... Thanks... ..... Chuck

Chuck,

I don't know if there is any difference between a 2X and a 4X4, I don't think there is. I put a new NAPA master cylinder on my 93, did not have any problems with the holes lining up

NAPA Part Number was 39712. Listed at $168, got it for $116. Was out of town when I had the problem, simply asked the NAPA dealer for a discount and got it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

I already checked out that same part #at Napa and it's a different fit. . Yes there may be a difference in the 4X4 verses 2W/D, not sure. Whenever I buy pads I have to specify 4500lb front axle. I just got hold of a (good?) parts guy at the stealer and he said there is a difference... I'll find out tomorrow. BTW the part # the dealer gave me was 4112654 . . $110 new. . I hope it's not the wrong one!. . Thanks again for the reply... ... ... ... Chuck
