You would need a smaller master cyl. bore to put more pressure on the system. I suspect the master cyls. are the same. On 99 they are same but calipers on 99 3500 are 86mm, 2500 are 80mm. bg
 
A smaller diameter master cylinder bore will make more pressure, but pedal travel will increase (not a bad thing)



A larger diameter piston in the caliper will increase the "squeeze" on the rotor.



Different pad compounds will have a noticable effect on stopping power felt at the pedal.
