Ihave a 96 3/4 ton. I have converted it with a one ton dually rear end. All new brakes in rear end. Is a 1 ton master cyclinder larger than 3/4 ton one on truck? Truck just doesn't stop as well as it did before. Does anybody think this is the problem? Thanks. Ramzilla.

Most of the earlier 2500 trucks "upgrade" to the one ton wheel cylinders. Say it is a big improvement. Still would be using the 2500 master cylinder.

With all new parts, maybe they need a chance to break in.
