Competition Calling Out The Edge Truck

Competition Quickest Diesel Dragster

Ok to spark a little interest in a match race format , pick the race you would most likely want to see if you were going to attend a race on whom ever track or sanction body just for the excitement of racing and vote on what tracks you would like to see this at

Remember vote for the pair you want to see race, and the track, or tracks at which you would like to see them race at and would try to attend.

Are you going to have a ride for next year? You have to be dependable if you want promoters to schedule the match. If you are available; I'd like to see you and Keating in Bowling Green April 29th and then you and the Wolverine in Indy.

I have been on a R&D frenzy. and the truck will be ready. It takes a lot of work and funding to make the leap in to the seven second zone , but I am committed to going that fast with a Cummins , the minimum dial in NHRA’s Top Sportsman is 7. 95 . Do you know something about the Wolverine that we don't

I want to see as many things as possible at Indy. I don't get the opportunity to travel to any of the other tracks.

I also think Indy will have WAY more coverage next year, and we need to get the big boys to step up and run hard there!

Josh

Well I'd be more than happy to take you up on that... . But AZ to MN is a bit out of your way for a TX race... :-laf

But believe me... I'll be down in Indy if I have to hitch hike my way there! The last 2 years have been a BLAST!

Josh

I vote for all of the above at Lost Vegas!

"What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!"

The stories we could read here would be worth the price of admission.

It's also closer to me... . :)

Oops sorry Josh I forgot. I am moving to Wisconsin. That will make it a little easier. Isn't Lost Vegas a little higher up than Indy?

Eric, what ever you do, dont schedule Comp for anything as he wont show anyway.

Even if it's Edge's Wolverine that he is up against? I would like to see an Outlaw Diesel class, other than safety, two doors and an engine. Keating will be there (IRP), XXXX will be there, COMP says he'll be ready-think Fletcher will have his ride rockin'? Could be one heck of a line up. :D

Didnt ole Comp already say before that he wouldnt show up for a DHRA event? Like I said , dont waste your time as its all smack.

Would I like to see all the above match races... sure would, but same as last year... "Yes I'll be there @ IRP" and then the let down of him (Comp) just runnin his mouth. Besides, he thinks someone sould pay him to get out and go to a race.

Now, I could understand helping some of the guys out like ole Fletch that would have to drive many, many hours to get to ... IRP , or Houston. Sure , help them out with fuel money, they deserve it.

I agree Fletcher just does it. No smack, other than his philisophical posts, and is independant! That truck was built on his knowledge, with his money.

I'm broke, and I'd throw in $50 to get Fletcher to IRP next year!

My question is, will Darren even race with the rules change. That change only affects one truck, so I don't know what he'll do.

And as far as Fletcher is concerned, is he of legal weight? I understand 3800. That's a lot of add on lbs.

So before all the excitement gets going, just who's gonna want to race? I'll have my truck ready by then, but then I won't be pro street.

What in the hell are you talking about? No one mentioned Pro Street, Darren's name isn't even up there. It's late enough that you should have your coffee drank. :-laf

I was speaking of the match race poll between and Bill and Darren. That's what the hell I'm talking about, Eric. I know you didn't forget Darren runs in Pro Street. I'm saying my truck won't be fast enough for that class. So I'm in a lesser class, like the FTRL. I would like to see Keating and Greg on the line together. That would be a fine race for sure.

And yes, I drank my coffee but a got another pot on. It just never ends. Coffee, coffee, coffee.

LMAO, just goes to prove you that if there is more than one or two words in a sentence I get confused, LOL. #ad

I'd be happy to see all pro-street trucks that competed in any event this year show up at one event. That would give us a pretty big field. I'd pay money to see Fletch and Darren or Fletch and Jeff, or Fletch and Maddog. Id also like to see Comp and Keating Run. I dunno why COMP is worried with Keith's truck when Keating Machine is knocking on the door pretty loudly. Of course, I have heard rumblings about a no holds barred, fun what ya brung, no minimum weight race in the works as well... ... .

A Vegas NHRDA race , run in conjunction with the Mopar event. Now are NHRDA needs to do is put the exact same rules in place for Pro Street as DHRA and everyone has more tracks and races to compete in.

With one exception , stabilize the rules . if one person is dominating don’t try to writing rules to slow them down , example water / Methanol injection . just let everyone else step up to the plate and run faster . the playing field will level soon enough .

If you out law water / Methanol in Pro Street you are only aiming this rule at one team, and by doing this you exclude several manufactory that might just come along with a little money .
