Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Blow-by Bottle Question

I have an Edge EZ with the supplied boost elbow installed. It produces 28-29 psi. Some adjustable boost elbows for sale claim to be set to 35psi max. Are these just smaller orficed elbows than Edge supplies? Is this possible with a stock turbo? I understand that the wastegate can be adjusted minimally to increase the boost. What is the maximum, or the maximum efficient boost for a stock turbo?

Someone is selling a Banks Big Head actuator and a Quick Turbo housing. They claim the Big Head is set at 43 psi, and that the Quick Turbo Housing is a "ported" exhaust housing. Anyone have any knowledge of these two parts? Is this true? Can the stock housing be ported to open it up?

I am looking to at DD2 or RV275 injectors for hauling with the EZ and want to keep EGTs down, but am hoping I don't have to buy a larger/different turbo to do it. I am also contemplating propane and water injection to this end and hopefully help with mileage. Thoughts from those with similiar equipment experiences would be appreciated! Thanks.

35 is about all you want the stock charger to put out, any more it just pumps hot air. I went to a 14cm exhaust housing, bout 400 bucks, seems to work great, I harly ever get over 1000 even with a full load. You shouldn't have to worry about EGT's with the 275's and the EZ. And I won't comment on Banks :-laf Last diesel I looked at that was blown to bits was caused by propane injection, lot of guys use it that know more than I do, same with water injection.

I'm running a Banks/Holset 14cm housing with the Big Head actuator. Mine opens the waste gate at 38 psi but it will spike to 40 then falls back. I use a DZ spinner so that works out fine, but 35 psi is the max for the stock HX 35, as previously stated. I wouldn't call the Bank housing "ported" as it come out of the box. North West Bombers has a good thread on porting ontheir web page for the Mighty Cummins.
