Max pin weight

I want to buy a new 5th wheel trailer and would like to know what is the max pin weight and towing weight for my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab 4x4 CTD 48RE with 373 gears?

Your owners manual should have it all spec'd out

You need to weight the truck. Subtract the truck's weight from the GVWR and that's how much you have left for pin weight, passengers, cargo, etc. Be ready for a big surprize. See http://www.klenger.net/arctic-fox/weight/index.html for more info.

All my trucks have air bags... and the B & W turnover goose neck hitch in the truck... We see3500-4500 lbs hitch weight if the trailer is loaded wrong... . I know that my 5th well trailer has no where near that weight..... We use the B&W Companion hitch... Now that I think of it, it might be B&D... . turnover..... Oh well. . you get the picture... . the trailer can go up to 24,000 lbs...
