Where do you find the actual TSB?

Fellow TDR member Cumminsgetme has an amazingly strong truck! He still has the little P-pump that is supposedly horsepower limited.

He's running 1/4 mile trap speeds of over 97 mph consistantly and his truck weighs just a tad over 6500 lbs. Using the Horsepower formulas, this computes to well over 460 HP on straight diesel.

I want to know who else has tweaked a small version of the P-7100 to the max and what kind of horsepower numbers were obtained. Joe? Piers? Anyone?

I remember Joe Donnelly helping someone get 370 or so horsepower out of a small pump and have heard rumors of Piers getting slightly over 400, but surely there's more than that!

We're going to dyno tomorrow (hopefully) to get some REAL numbers to back this up, but I just want to get some feedback from others.

Is this the strongest Cummins out there with the small pump?

Cumminsgetme's truck flat gets it done, that thing is a rocket. Mine runs decent and he is all over me in a heart beat.

Chris, hurry and get yours done I cant wait for a ride.

Yep his truck runs well but he is never satisfied. I think he will be visiting Henderson next month in the never ending quest for just a bit more :D

Well, maybe more than a bit ;)

They guy with 372 hp stopped by for a [censored] and a set of [censored] today because he doesn't want to stay on the porch next month.

Hey, Cord, we will see what the little pump does with nothing [zero] in it :D Sorry, inside joke

The Dynojet will tell all on December 15.

TxDieselKid,

We are probably going to head to the dyno next week. If you (or anyone else) would like to join us... .come on.

Joe,

I would never never push my truck past Cummins specs. That would definately lead to a poor 23 yo college student who places more priority on his truck than paying tuition... ... oh, wait..... that's me:D .

I can only hope for numbers that high on the dyno. Like Chris said, I have been getting excellent trap speeds. I hope I'm wrong, but the calculated HP from the 1/4 mile speed seems a little unreal (mainly b/c I've never heard of anyone getting that much out of a little pump). If I am at 430 HP I will be very happy, anything else will just be a bonus. So lets hear some numbers that you guys have gotten from your little pumps.

AJB, ya done been told, in the events forum. Come to Pahrump NV for the Dec 15 rally. Diesel Dynamics promises us numbers we have never seen before  because they are tired of others messin around in the 640 range and getting all the glory with their drug addicted Rams.

Hey Joe...where you going with that turbo in your hand...hey Joe...

Joe, I would be there except that the 15 of Dec is the same day as my last final in school. :(

Plus that's a LONG ways away. Kerville was far enough, and I know you made the trip, but thats WAY to much fuel $$$ when I'm trying to save for gauges.
