Hey all, first post here.
I just bought my new truck last Monday at Maxwell Dodge, 183 & 620, in Austin, TX. I bought a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 4x2 with CTD. I forget all the extras it had on it, but some of them include:
Lonestar package
Anti Slip Differential
Metallic Slate Gray(?) paint
Automatic transmission
Aluminum wheels
Front tow hooks
Sticker price on the truck was $38055, and I offered them $33000. Of course they didnt take my offer, however they did put the invoice down in front of me which was $34189, the truck had come from another dealership. They offered me the truck for $34500, plus all rebates/incentives. They also gave me $1000 for my trade - 1995 F-150 with 165,500 miles. I ended up getting the truck for $29500 plus TTL & extended warranty. They sold me the warranty for $1550 which was a 7/70k (I think, would have to look), bumper to bumper.
Total amount financed out the door was $33k and change.
Does this seem like a good deal? It did to me or I would not have bought it
My buying experience with Maxwell was really comfortable and straight forward. Although it was an all day adventure, most of it was my reluctance to wanting to buy, and test driving several vehicles. Just wondering if anyone else had anything good to say about Maxwell Dodge?
Oh yeah, here is a picher
