My Maxxima 4" round LED dome light (M84406-B) arrived Thursday via UPS. I dropped the headliner down on Friday for the install.

The bad part is I don't have any pics of the actual installation as my nickel metal hydride batteries took a dump in my digital camera and would barely turn the camera on after a few re-charging attempts. Most every time I try to post an iphone 4S pic, I get an "invalid file" message. :confused:

It's a surface mount held in place with three screws. The light was installed where the overhead console would normally go. I simply tied into the existing wiring of the current overhead dome lamp.

The light is 24 LED's, 450 lumens, 5.50" overall diameter and 0.8" in height, and only draws 480mA. It has a 5 year warranty as well.

The single dome lamp in my Tradesman wasn't cutting it.....I think this should be just what I needed!!! :-laf

Taken earlier in the day {obviously}

It's fairly low profile.

I took these pictures around 9:30 pm EDT this evening. Pardon the pics....it's a little more difficult to get a good pic with no flash....but no flash gives ya an idea of how good this additional light really is.

None of these pics give one a true appreciation of the amount of light produced. Any Tradesman / ST owners tuning in without the overhead console & map lights will understand this perfectly!!!! :cool:

Looks kinda like the lights in our old police cars, we called them "sniper lights" because the snipers could see you from a mile away at night.

Post some install pictures please. I could use one in my 2014 C&C.

Last round of pics....

It even throws a decent amount of light in the back seat.
