I see there may be a sled pull. I had asked about that a few weeks ago. How close is this to becoming a reality? Can I help in any way?

I'm waiting to hear from the guys who want the sled.

Holset and Fleetguard will be attending and giving seminars, too.

So is the sled event good to go; so I can let the guys interested in this event know it's happening. A few of the guys are only planning to attend if there is a sled to yank through the dirt. Oo.

I haven't heard anything additionally about the sled pull, I started working on one and became busy and then I saw were somebody else was working on it. not sure if he was sucsesfull, these types of events take some serious planinig and backing finacially and I believe it was to late to get things together. Really wish somebody in Vegas locally would try to put it on as it so hard from a distance to look at venues and make arrangments.

If one happens then so be it, but I kinda doubt there is gonna be one, at this late in the game. Oh well, maybe next year.

Cheers

Piers,

Joe is hiding. His over-valved, underfueled ram got beat by some green undervalved, overfueled ram in Vegas a couple weekends ago. This is hearsay though, you know, “through the grape vine. ” ;)

My "properly valved" Ram slips its clutch. I am testing an "off-brand" unit (not South Bend, of course) and it won't hold like my con-FE did. yes, it is underfueled, but more seriously it is under-clutched. I talked to Peter recently about my problem Oo.

After all these years, we know Nowel was right, and 24 is the proper number of valves :D

Events are almost finalized. Basically Wednesday we have talks and a trip to Pahrump. Thu and Fri, more talks (Cummins, BorgWarner, etc) and Dyno Days. Friday night, drag racing. Saturday is Hall of Gottahavits, vendor talks, banquet with give-aways. On unspecified evenings, we have M3 (May Madness Margaritaville).

Shame on you Joe !!!!! :-{} For that don't expect your Margarita to taste like you expect. :-laf

Hey Buckshot we had one last year and it worked out pretty good. I just sold things standing around BSing around the Margarita machine. So I guess we will see you there EH?

Do you have to have tickets for this stuff? Mostly the Drag races and dyno

sorry this is my first MM

As I recall, the only things you will need tickets for are the Lake Mead Cruise and the Banquet Dinner on Saturday night. One dinner ticket is included with your registration. All else is "pay as you go"
