May Madness 2006 Sled Pull

I'm definitely on the outside looking in, as I'm not going to pull, but I sure like to watch sled pulls, and I have some questions.



Is someone organizing the sled pull at May Madness? I've seen a thread asking about which rule set is going to be used, and I've not seen a definitive answer. It seems to me that you just can't have a sled there and let everyone do what they want, and I don't believe that the sled operator is going to organize the event. I was at the sled pull at Los Angeles County Raceway last year, and it was evident that a lot of work had gone into organizing the event.



I thought it went pretty well, and I would like to see the one at May Madness go as well, and have a good turnout, to increase my spectating pleasure. I saw some awesome trucks at LACR, and hope to see some of them again. I'll have my video of the High Desert Diesel Roundup with me, but it's just not the same.



So, in an effort to get these answers out in the open, as I'm sure that others wonder the same things that I do, I ask the following questions that I hope are not impertinent:



Is someone organizing this event?



What ruleset has been decided upon?



Who's attending?



I've searched for the answers on the web site, and not found them. Please point me to a thread if I've missed something.

Jim, you have'nt missed anything, as far as I know the pullers (us) are voting on which ruling will be used. Whether it be DHRA, DPO, or Rocky Mtn Pullers'. Tech is at three and the pulling starts at six, so i am posittive sometime during tech the rules we will be using is going to become official. It kinda sucks, because some guys won't be prepared, or be shoved into a class were they won't be competitive, however it will still be a boatload of fun.



Oh, and I will be there.
