Drag racing will be at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, an NHRA member track where two NHRA National events are held annually. Be sure to bring your K98 or Snell 2000 certified (or more recent) helmet. The track is holding drag racing on Wednesday evening, where you can participate in their "All Out Wednesday" an informal bracket race for street legal vehicles. You can read about the track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

NHRA requires a helmet for bracket e. t. s of 13. 99 or quicker, so I assume the track will do so also. If running slicks, you may be required to have a driveshaft loop, etc. per the NHRA rule book, at the track's discretion.

will there be drag racing Fri or Sat. night and is there going tom be sled pulls in Pahrump? When will the schedule be out?

Maddog's Dynojet will be running thursday at MM. Reb, what about 1300 HP this year? You aren't gonna let an undervalved truck match you. . .

Now thats the pot stiring I'm used to hearing. I was starting to get bored about MM. Yah gonna do some diesel #'s this weekend. Trucks running good. One thought that i have though, with the power numbers getting where they are now, we might need to think more about crowd safety on an elevated Dyno. Just a thought.

Pretty hard to run a 6. 7 short block, but a 6. 7 long block might be a lot easier. Those motors are so hard to come by these days. Numbers were better on diesel, but 5. 9 was better on NOS. So hard to keep the 6. 7 together over 1100 HP. I'm prayin' that my 5. 9 is going to be done by MM. Seems no matter when i start, I'm always at square one a week before MM.
