About 5 hours from Reno and 3-4 from Vegas is Tonopah, NV. The Station House casino on the south end of town has a few RV spaces. Across the highway from it is a dirt lot where big rigs often park overnight (free but dry camping). There might be other campgrounds in the area too, for example another 1. 5 hours south at Beatty I recall seeing one on the north end of town; also lots of parking at the casino (Burro Inn) on the south side. Also you can usually find a space off the highway that is fairly level if you get tired.
