Cummins Big Rig Truck Nationals

help! may madness registration question

HVAC, Scott1 or others that have attended the past TDR events. . who /what to expect in the way of vendors at the may event. . reason I'm asking is what can one expect in "show discounts" on BOMB parts. . [need to put a few pennies away before] OR should I even wait to BOMB on next project... such as blue chips newest box with the adjustable fuel sets. . another thought, has any of the bed fuel tank guys ever attended with their wares ?? need to add a 100+ gallon unit as I do not enjoy the three times a week trip to fuel up. . Also have any clutch guys been there ? next BOMB will force this as the torque stated in HVAC's rig has shown. . the DD stageIII plus the module has me about all ol' stocker gan take without serious foot control and I for one have NO intention to have any of that. . to many FERDS in my area to harrass HEHEHE. . Gary

Our shop is one of the installers for TransferFlow Tanks. These units are of high quality and have very detailed instructions. They also have a trouble shooting hotline. We are located in Corvallis,Or. I dont know if that helps you out. I also would like to know what vendors will be at Minden or have been there in the past.

Typically May Madness has had a lot of vendors. Some may have discounts, but I bet if you call them, you can find out something in advance. I remember BD. Genos, Banks, TST, Cummins, PacBrake, Mag Hytec, Bosch, Holset, etc. Sorry if I missed your favorite in this list. Blue Chip was at Belen last year, but I don't recall if they were at Minden. No fuel tank mfg as I recall. Last year Bruce Mallinson was there, but did not have a booth as I recall. James Ray attended (of LSR truck fame). It would be nice if fuel tank and bumper mfg attended, but haven't so far.

I surely have forgotten someone and apologize in advance. Check out the TDR website for more information.

I wonder who it was that decided it necessary to do burnouts in the parking lot last year? I am under the impression this would be the CVI.
Evidently this did not sit well and they are in the MM doghouse this year! Hmmm who could it have been... ... ... ... anyone?

Gary, just got confirmation that Chip from Blue Chip diesel will be at May Madness. Maybe you can purchase the BB at a discount.
Now for the bad news, the research I have done has led me to the McCloud dual disc. It is $1,200. 00! OUCH!! If you add the BB and set it at 30% or 50% maybe you can baby the stock clutch for a while?

HVAC. . well my pocket will have to be full. . let's see . 02 for Mag rear end cover,. 03 for Blue Chip, . 04 for 4" Ted's exhust,. 05 for in bed fuel tank, hell I only need 14 cents to futher bomb the BAAAD Boy...
don't mind the $1200. 00 for the clutch , just don't want to do it twice like your test machine got to do [old saying. . better you than me. . hehe] and I don't know how to baby anything. . it goes or it breaks, easy to figure out that way. Isn't that the official BOMB method of testing things out ??
I can see now I better have some spare room in the bed to haul things home. . have to pick up some goodies at Summit Racing in Reno for my Jeep project also. . Gary

Sorry Gary, you are computing the cost for your Bomb upgrades in Canadian dog years! #ad

You will need permission from your local bank as well as the IRS and the federal reserve before proceeding with any monetary exchanges. Think Brinks :)

I do agree with the formula for testing performance stuff, either it works or it gets replaced. Breakage is a fallout of the Bombing proceedure. It is necessary to separate the adequate components from the inferior.

Bombing can be expen$ive!$$ #ad

Gary you bring as much money as you can and will be kind enough to help you spend it. On your truck that is.

OO,check the events on the mainpage. It shows the tentative schedule. From what Ive seen Wednesday and Thursday are the best days to catch everybody at the Carson Valley Inn.
