May Madness dyno and dash plaques

We will have Dyno Days at May Madness this year, Thursday and Friday (partial days), at a Dynojet facility we found in Pahrump.



We also plan to make up commemorative dash plaques for the first xxx registered trucks. Not sure yet how many; depends on cost and funds but if you pre-register by April 20, you will get one.

Joe today is the 20th. and I never got info on how to register for the dyno. What gives?

The plaque is related to pre-registering for MM. You won't register for the dyno until you get there on Dyno Day.

Well I guess I'm out of luck then as it is way past the 20th of April now, too bad

We will make some extra plaques but they aren't cheap so we have to guess how many we will need. Those who just show up and hope all is well--and there are 50-100 of them every year--might considering pre-registration next year. The plaques won't be generic so we will have to discard any extras. thus, we don't want to order a lot more of them than we need.



The dyno shop just backed out, killing Dyno Days unfortunately.



"I have spoken to a few people here and I am sorry to say that we don't

think we can assist you this year with the dyno. In order for us to be

able to staff it properly and have it make sense for us, you would be

looking at close to 300. 00 per 1 pull session. There are also issues

with the ventilation system that is currently set up, and with the

diesel engines; it is not something the GM is willing to risk. Our

system is not set up for diesel engines and the black smoke produced by

the diesels is harmful and ducting work would have to be revamped in

order for it to be safe. I apologize for the inconvenience but we will

not be able to participate in the event this year. Good luck with the

event. "

Well With the Dyno Gone, I am going to have to pull out of going there. I was going to get there on thursday afternoon anyway so the little amount of stuff to do is not worth it for me this year.
