May Madness Sled Pull???

Oo. May Madness SLED PULL!!!!!!!



Yep I'm new over here, but would like some input from ya'll



I am trying to get a sled pull planned for May Madness at LVMS. More than likely it will be on Saturday May 7th, since the Drags are on Friday, May 6th (at least that is my understanding). I’m kinda in a time crunch for this, due to the fact that it will take some planning with LVMS and scheduling of the sled. From the individuals that I have talked to there seems to be a lot of interested people. A couple of individuals are willing to post up the money to get this going, but I need to find a way to get people confirmed, not just interested for the pull. Any suggestions from you guys would be tremendously helpful. I’m thinking some kind of Money up front deal, just because of the amount of money involved to set this up. It would be crappy to have 50 trucks say they are interested and then just 5 show up, if ya know what I mean.

Saturday is Show N Shine, awards banquet etc. Not sure if you could get in a sled pull!

Several years ago there was a sled pull. Did not go over very big. I know times have changed.

But I sure do hear a lot of you guyz out here talk about how bad a!@ your trucks are and how us guyz from back east don't have any H. P. etc. etc. I sure sould like to see some of you big boyz hook to a sled.

I'm still working this, to see if I can make it happen in the very small amount of time I have to bring this to reality.

Several folks are working to make it happen. I think Thursday would work best, and compress the dyno to one day. Tuesday or Wednesday could work too. Friday is OK but leaves little time before the drag racing that night. Friday night is drags, Saturday is pretty full with talks, vendor show, etc.

How about everybody work together, and make it happen. I think Richard said there was a sled in St. George that would be willing to go. There are several people here in Colorado that would like to see it happen from all 3 makes. I'll help in any way I can.
