May Madness

Haven't heard anything about May Madness in a long time. Is it still gonna happen or what?i had fun at the one in 04 and would like to go to the one in 05 if it still happens. Let me know either way please.

Last year Joe siad that It would still be in Vegas even though he was moving. Is this still true Joe???

I just got back from the SEMA show in Vegas. Hence the delay in answering. Yes, May Madness is on for May 4-7 (Wedn--Sat) next year, @ Arizona Charlies-Boulder Highway in Las Vegas, NV. Hopefully, the info got into the next issue of TDR that is coming out in a couple weeks.

BBD, you are in charge of finding the sled, sponsors to pay for it, and getting LVMS to give us the space, or get sponsors to pay for it. Since you won the show last year, it is your duty to show us how that bad boy pulls



We had sled pulls in 2002 (in Pahrump that year) but had trouble getting a full field of trucks for it. The dealership got the money for the sled.

What would be the posibilty of getting some property in Vegas somewere ? vice everybody having to go to Pahrump.

I'd suggest contacting the las Vegas Motor Speedway if possible, 644-4444 or lvms.com and see if that will work. Tell them what you are doing, and are involved with May Madness etc.

Hey Big Joe, I just got of the phone with somebody at the operations division of LVMS, they want me to send them an e-mail with the deatils. What day would be the best ? I would like to make it Saturday if that works again all up in the air at this point.

Saturday is traditionally the vendor seminar day/hall of gottahavits/banquet. Friday evening has been drag racing in the past. Let's see what LVMS suggests and try to work around it.
