Green fuel cap-where can I find one? (to signify Diesel Fuel Only)

The Racor done its job.

I spent several months volunteering at Golden Spike working on the Steam Locomotives they have there... it was a lot of fun... So does the engine start with a starter driven by air pressure.... I know that some in town trucks use air starters instead of electric one.... Love that Turbo Whine..... did any of you think to run a infrared heat gun on each of the exhaust tubes to see if they make even temperature/power

The engine is spun by the "Dynastarter" mounted on top of the hydraulic transmission that is connected to the engine by the large red carden shaft. The starter motor also acts as a generator for battery charging once the diesel motor is running.

I didn't see a heat gun being used. I think they were just hoping that the thing would start period. It sounded like it was hitting on all cylinders.

The starter is on the left side of the pic.
