It may be the TPS Sensor, but we can't prove it. Code set for speed sensor (6 spd transmission) and TPS (has low voltage). Truck running fine now they say. Don't want to replace the part without proving that it is infact the TPS that is bad at $400 for the unit plus labor on top of the 130 bucks for labor so far and 125 bucks for the tow truck!#@$%!



Ya think I am mad? I wish we had a lawyer that could file a class action suit for all that have had to endure the cost of replacing a part that has plagued these trucks with problems since, what, 1992? Bad design and a crappy place to put it. They are even moving it to another location on '03's. They know it is a weak link and we still have to eat it.



I'm done. Gonna go pick up the truck and see how long it takes for the problem to return so we can do it all again!



Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for letting me vent, though I didn't give you a choice:rolleyes:
