Junior,
You have two totally different type of products when you compare the MBRP 304 stainless to the Magnaflow systems that are made of either 409 or 436 stainless. 304 is much more expensive but it it the last system you'll ever buy for the truck, it will outlast you and me as well. If you are comparing to the 409 Magnaflow, with it you will get a 3. 5 inch down pipe, the Cummins responds better to a 4. 0 down pipe, they build it with a 2 piece tail pipe which means the clamp joint will show from the rear with your 4x4 truck. Thats a individual preference thing as far as looks goes but most folks prefer to not see any clamps, plus if the clamp ever corrodes and fails the tail pipe is free to slip out of place. The MBRP is a one piece tail pipe just like the OEM's use, and comes with a 4. 0 down pipe and 100% welded hangers that use the factory mounting hangers, the welded hangers are also made out of 304 stainless on all stainless systems no matter if they are 409 or 304 stainless systems. Now the 304 MBRP is the same exact system just made out of 304 through out the entire system. I just wanted you to know that there is a pretty big price differential between the 304 and 409 systems, so that you can compare apples to apples. The 436 Maganflow system is somewhere in between as far as quality of stainless materials.
