Has anybody put an MBRP Particulate Filter Back Exhaust on a 4th Gen and put some miles on loaded and unloaded? I have a 2012 2500 and am considering the MBRP T409 SS exhaust shown in Geno's catalog for the 2010-2013 HD's. I am interested in your feedback on sound, any drone problem (if yes when/what rpm), pros/cons over stock based on your experience, ease of install (I put a Hogg exhaust on my 2003 years ago and it was not difficult.) I am not looking for any HP/Torque gain or any performance boost, I know that won't happen, I am really just looking for a little more aggressive sound, emphasis on slight, nothing crazy, and I also like the bigger rolled tip (but I could add simply add a rolled tip to those to the stock exhaust.) I appreciate you sharing any experience you may have with this set up.

Just take of the resonator and replace with a piece of straight pipe. As long as the Cat and the PDF are in the exhaust system, the truck will be quiet.

Thank you. I did some checking around and understand that you not only get no performance improvement you get no sound improvement b/c of the particulate filter upstream. ....so I am saving my money and just getting a shiny new 5" tip.
