McCulloch/Kipor generator

Anyone used or seen these used? Sportsman's Warehouse has the McCulloch 2000 watt version for $499. I know it's not a Honda or Yamaha, but it is about 1/2 the cost. I wouldn't use it a lot, but want to replace my current loud generator with something quieter. Thanks.

Not too long ago there was a discussion on those units here. Do a search and see what comes up .

I searched and found that thread. There are only 6 or 7 replies, and some were mine :-laf . I thought that since McCulloch is marketing them, maybe someone would have one. Seem to be easier to come by now. I'm going to check over on the RVNet and see what they say there. I'll post what I find.
