McCullor 2011 crew cab, LED's not working in outside mirror, purchased replacement

I gave my last 8 digits to my dealer and he sold me a replacement mirror turn signal. I asked if you pry it out with a screw driver and he responded he didn't know. I can see the connection and what the new part looks like, but can't figure out how to remove the old LED assy. anyone have any ideas? I would assume my dealership knows but doesn't want to tell me how to fix it so they get the business instead of me doing it for free. Any feedback would be appreciated.
