That sounds like a lot of fun but for some reason my wife thinks its more important for me to stay at the house with her and the little one. I'm not far from you, down here in Murphy and have a few fellow oil burners and we like to get together and do the same thing when we can. Maybe another time if I can get her to take a trip and leave me home alone with no adult supervision so that I can act like the kid that I really am. In the mean time you ought to come down this way some 2nd Saturday for the Big D Dodge Diesel Club meeting in Addison. Can't tell me its too far as we have a regular that comes in from Durant most of the time. Yall have fun.

2nd Saturday of each month around 8:00-8:30 is when people start showing up. It's at Bic's Coffee Shop at the SW corner of Keller Springs & Midway in Addison/Carrollton. PM me with your e-mail address and I will have you put on the mail list. There is 'usually' a reminder e-mailed out before the meetings. They are nothing fancy, we just meet for breakfast to BS, kick tires, & sniff diesel fumes.

Landon, if I had seen your message earlier, I might have taken you up on it. I spent all of Saturday night and all day Sunday pianting my wife's salon. I'd much rather be sitting enjoying a beer.



As for the meeting, we've been trying to move things around to accomidate more people. We've talked about different resturants and different times, but nobody has come up with anything. I'll keep trying.

I have to work most Sat. mornings, but if we could set something up in the afternoon's, I'd definately be up for that. We have also discussed a wrenching day this weekend. I just ordered my new IssPro white face gauges and triple pillar pod and plan on putting them in this weekend, provided they come in before friday. I also need to finish up the last part of my exhaust, just the elbow bringing it out the corner. If anyone is up for that, just let us know here.

I've got new guages coming as well (replacing column mount Phantoms with pillar mount DiPricols). Should be here Wednesday or Thursday. I'm probably working Saturday for a while in the morning, but I may be available in the early afternoon. When and where's the wrench day? My garage would be available if I'm available. I have room for two trucks inside (3 if I move some stuff). I have only basic tools (and limited at that). If something special is needed, I can probably get it.

Not sure what I've got going this weekend other than a haircut Saturday AM but I could come over and help/watch/laugh/ drink beer. Or we could do it here if you wanted too. Maybe we could get Lance to come over and we could do his tank mod if you can believe we haven't done it yet.

I can believe that. My install won't take long. Most of the wiring is already there and I won't be hooking up the pyro until I get the new manifold in. Whatever works best for eveyone else. Just let me know.

Hyde, if you want to do it at your place, I'm up for that. Or anywhere anyone wants to hold it, even here if there are gonna be a lot of people show up. I have 5. 5 acres to park trucks, and plenty of fab tools. We just need to decide on a place. I'm removing my Phantom's from the console and putting new IssPro white faces on the pillar. I'm adding a fuel pressure gauge as well. I reckon we just need to decide on a place to do it.

How many people are we talking? Darren has room in his driveway/garage for about 3 trucks. I have room for more at my house, but I have a very limited selection of tools. If Darren wants to host it so he can be close to the house if need be, that's fine. I'll bring some cold ones (Miller Lite?). I may try and swing Saturday off. Worst case I'll have to work until 12 or 1.

I know I have to work till 12 on Saturday. So I was plannin on something in the afternoon. I'll be bringing Budweiser Select and I'll have enough to share, but usually no one likes Bud I just got done pulling my old ones out and I am already in withdrawl, not having a pyro or boost gauge to see what the motor is doing for a week is going to kill me. :{



But whomever decides to hold it, post some directions up.

not familiar with Lucas or Murphy, but I'll be leaving from Ag-Power, the John Deere dealer, on 380 in McKinney at 12.

Murphy is on FM544 between Plano and Wylie. Lucas is just east of Allen.

That's cool. Either doesn't sound very far, so I guess we just need to get a full head count and decide where to hold it.

Take Renner Rd. exit, turn left.

Renner tees in to Murphy Rd. , turn right

Take first left, Ridgeview.

2nd right off of Ridgeview is Horizon. I'm at 707 about halfway down on the left.
