anyone have a bad experiance with Mcquay norris ball joints? The uppers went in with just the effort from a rachet on the c-press,the lowers came out of the freezer and slid in without the press at all!Even after they warmed up I could push them out with my thumb... . I micd them against the old lowers and found they were . 005 smaller??#@$%!#@$%!

Any ideas??

try again!

Tire club sent me XRF lowers to replace the McQuays that were to small. They went in great, froze em,anti seized and bang they went. Good company to get stuff from.

What brand were the old ones?

I have alot of guys complaing that the XRF's are either too big or the splined surface "opened up" the bores a little bit. This made it too big for properly sized joints. Dynatrac has enough guys commenting that after running ball joints that had the splined surface that they are offering a service to knurl the joints that don't fit tight. This is make the joints fit these stretched out bores.
