Cool! I'll be there (and bring a pot of chili), so long as Dad and I don't have to head out to MN around then. ... Ooh. We'll be in MN that week (Elgin, IL, 5/16). I'll have to ensure we'll be back in time!

Fest3er

Keith You know I plan on making it.

I'll be camping.

I said I would help with the pig, not do the whole night. :D

I hope to bring a convoy up from the south.

Wes

Keith, I will be there, along with my two girls 4 and 7 and wife. We will be camping.

I plan on helping (learning) with any wrenching going on. Also I will be bringing along a case of beer and a Pan of my wifes great Lasagna.

Ken

Kieth,,Count me in as long as things progress as they currently are now at work,,I'll need a close motel for a place to crash later, with getting in that morning and driving down I'll not make it back home, too old for that anymore, way too many miles... . Keep me posted... Andy

Tater Salad

I forgot Keith, put us down for some potatoe salad. Can't have barbeque without tater salad or coleslaw.

Looking forward to this, thanks for putting it on.

Wes

We will try and make it Keith. I'm scheduled to work that Sat. , but I think I can work a trade. Don't know if we will pull the 5er since you are so close, but then,,,, if Wes and Chris are camping, we may do an overnighter where they stay at.

We are leaving tomarrow to go to Pigeon Forge and then to Nashville the following week, so I'll let you know more when we get back.

Dennis

Beth and I will come on over for the day. With a little luck we'll have a son by then too.

I think I'll bring a crockpot of meatballs, you can never have too much meat.

Injector install

Hello all

A Friend I know very well is thinking about putting in a set of DDIIs. Is that a back yard kinda thing that you would allow in your driveway?? If so what would he need to bring as far as gaskets, tools and such?? Is this something that could be done, say while cooking a pig? :D ;)

Let me know?

This would mean the driver would have to learn how to row through the gears faster.

Look forward to seeing everyone next month.

See Ya

Tell your "friend" that it is an easy task, we should be able to handle an injector swap and cook a pig at the same time, no problem.

You might want to pick up the gasket that is under the intake horn, some of these are pretty flimsy. Other than that I am sure that we will have all the necessary tools.

Looking forward to this.

Anyone else heading up from the south?? We should all hookup and run up together if we can.

Wes

Chris,

After watching your swap out your first lift pump in the lot at MIR in under an hour, injectors should be no problem for you or your friend. Good job on the pump.

I have extra intake gaskets, o-rings, sealing washers and injector tubes. If you have spares you won't need them. If I have to work that weekend I will send them down with a local member.

Dave

Thanks Dave and Wes

My friend and I may change out the injectors prior to going north the thrid week in June. He don't know for sure yet.

Dave, I put in the "new" lift pump in about 20 min. It was an easy task, I work on USMC boats and I wish we had as much room for repairs on some of the stuff we do.

I have the lift pump that Tom gave me riding in my tool box in the back of my truck, if anyone out there needs one while on the road let me know. I drive a Caralina blue sky blue( Dodge calls it intense blue) truck. Thanks again Tom

Hope to see ya all next month.

See Ya

Chris
