Keith,
A good time was had by all. Good food, good fellowshipping. What's this I hear bout you moving to MO when you retire? Who's Dicky going to drink Old Crow with? If you do, I wish you luck and we'll throw some business your way.
Karl,
Sorry it turned out to be such an expensive day for you, but I think you'll like the Comp or EZ, whichever you decide on. But, look on the bright side. It could be worse. You could go the route Johnner went. Then you could get 2nd and 3rd mortgages and blow your daughters college fund.
Johnner,
What can I say? You've got some damned impressive power there, my friend. I think your next upgrade ought to be a parachute or two to slow that thing down. Thanks for the ride.
Joe,
You're one fascinating guy. I'd like to spend about 2 weeks and pick your brain. And what a dream job. I just keep thinking about that old Johnny Cash song, "One piece at a time". I know you're a 12-valve guy, but if you take a big enough lunch box to work, I know some of us 24-valvers would take some of the excess hardware off your hands.
John Mark,
Thanks for the tow up there. It's a lot easier to follow tail lights than read street signs. I appreciate it.
Ron,
Send me a PM next time you head to the lone star state. If I can swing it and you have the bed space, I may let you bring a bumper back for me. I almost forgot, good job on the pig.
Drew,
Your wife is WAY more understanding than mine. My wife wouldn't let me out of the house with a 6 day old baby, much less tag along. Kudos. My hat's off the both of you. We (MATDR) are planning a dyno day in late July. If you're planning to make it to that, think you could get me that filter and some filter oil? I'll understand if you can't make it and we'll figure out another way to get it here.
Everyone,
I hope ya'll had a safe journey back to your respective homes. I look forward to meeting up next time.
David
