measuring fuel pressure

well, i am just curious what my fuel pressure is. nothing wrong with my truck.



i do not want a guage installed on the dash. so i went to the tst site. they have a fuel pressure adapter ( what is this?) for $25. they also have a guage - 2-50psi. (i didn't see it on their order sheet?).



so what is the easiest way to check my fuel pressure? thanks. also where do i check it? can i get the guages at the local autozone? thanks. scott.

The TST adapter is made to replace the vent bleeder screw on top of the fuel filter housing and it works good. I used a oil pressure gauge I had lying around and it works good too. Any type of pressure gauge that goes to 35lbs should work fine.

You could put a 1/8" pipe thread plug in the adaptor but it's just as easy to replace the bleed screw.
