Mechanical Trans Temp Gauge

What are my options on mounting the sender of my

Autometer mech trans temp gauge?



Anybody ever mount it inline, like the '95 ?



Saw somewhere about mounting in trans case,

but they said it wouldn't be accurate .

That's where I installed mine. Surprisingly, the dealer had the line on hand.

Having it in the pan is the least accurate.



They install the sender in the case on the 47RH trannys because the sender is in the line that is used for the PCM input.
