Media center upgrade

My 2011 CTD CC Outdoorsman came with the 130 media center. I am thinking of purchasing the 430 with navigation. Does anyone know if the wiring harness is already in place to accept the upgraded media center? Also, is the wiring in place for the rear view camera, even though my truck didn't come with one?

To answer the rear camera question, take the inside panel off the tailgate and see if there is a wire harness by the handle. That is where the camera would plug into.

easier way to tell if the wiring is there for the rearview camera is to check the gap between the tailgate and the bed to see if a wire is connecting the two. My guess is no it is not there.

Upgrading the media center (to a Dodge one) will probable involve having the dealer reflash the system as the CanBus network know about the 130 system and if it is changed will require reprograming the system.

Thanks for the responses. After more research I decided I am going to stick with 130 radio and my portable garmin nav system. I will probably look into an after-market rear view camera.
