Well, since nobody else is giving you the info, I'll say what I do know. The door panel is fastened down by a few screws and to remove it you lift straight up and away on the door panel. The door panels no longer use the trim clips that break every time you remove the panel and instead have molded j-hooks on the plastic structure of the panel.
So to get the panel off is pretty simple and then you can look on the back side and make sure the woodgrain piece isn't hot-staked onto the panel. I'd be willing to bet it's either adhesive bonded or has a few tabs holding it to the panel.
