Seth stumbled on to this product at Wally World.
He tried it on his Jetta and claimed it works really well...so not to be outdone I gave it a try on Hoopty, the headlights were getting pretty cloudy..
Here are before and after, right side treated with the PlastX, left side not..

Not sure of longevity but might be as simple as an application every few weeks, nothing to it and takes just a minute...

I’ve found it best to put a polish on the lens after it’s been treated. I then repolish every so often and the cloudiness stays away.

Might consider "Mothers Mag and Aluminum cleaner" It seems to be the rage also. Treating the finished lens with some 303 to seal out the UV rays.

Not to rain on anyone's parade but the only true fix is to clean them up, wet sand with 3000 grit then spray with 2k clear. Without doing something like that they usually start the yellowing within 3 months and the process starts again. There is a product with mostly good reviews and a few not so good.

A good polishing compound and a wool pad with a rotary works excellent for restoring so it does not have to be a product for plastic.

303 is water based so if it does not rain or gets wet that would work. Otherwise the 303 will run off and just show streaks where it ran.

I did the long drawn out polish process when I bought the car 3 1/2 years ago. I have to take the front end of the car apart
to get the headlights out so was looking for a fill in kinda thing and this seems to work. I will have to remove them soon as the HID bulbs are getting squirrelly and need to be changed out. They don't fail like a normal bulb. Color changes a bit and they will go out on occasion. Turn lights off and right back on, voila....lights again!!

I use this product on all my lenses on my Ram. It makes the taillights and the Cab Running lights just shine. I then put wax on them. They shine up very nicely. Also works on the Lexan windows in the race car.

Use a buffing pad on your buffer or electric drill when using Meguiars PlastX. It will then remove the dead/sun damaged plastic. Does great with a little mechanical help.
